BRAZIL - Web of Life Forest

AVAILABLE IN RESIDENTIAL SUBSTRATE ONLY

Web of Life draws from Ñanduti, meaning “spider web” in Guarani—an ancestral embroidery rooted in the story of Jasy Jatere, a sacred figure in Guarani mythology found in the forest wrapped in a web woven by a spider. This weaving became a gift from nature to the Nhandesy, the maternal leaders of Guarani communities, who passed it down through generations. In this design, Miguela Moura honors the women who shaped her life and the belief that mothers, like spiders, weave possibilities for their children and communities. Her work reflects the Guarani understanding of the deep interconnectedness between people, nature, and spirit.
