Costa's early career took him from architecture to the world of advertising, where his talent for capturing stunning visuals and crafting impactful narratives quickly gained recognition. He collaborated with major brands like McDonald's, Fiat, Honda and GM, and VW, and his work was awarded at prestigious festivals like the Clio Awards and the Cannes Festival.
Beyond the commercial sphere, Costa nurtured a deep interest in artistic photography. He explored the intersection of photography and painting, creating captivating images showcased in exhibitions worldwide, including Paris, Florence and São Paulo.
Costa's artistic journey deepened with his involvement in the BEĨ Collection, connecting him to the artistic production of indigenous peoples. His photographs taken on expeditions to the Xingu Indigenous Park and the Amazon were featured in the book "Bancos Indígenas do Brasil" (2023) and a subsequent exhibition that toured Brazil, Tokio, and Madrid. The exhibition will soon be displayed at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC.
